Global media group News Corp. said Wednesday it was planning to sell nine of its FOX network-affiliated television stations which are located in nine different US states. The bid to offload the regional television stations comes as News Corp.， which is run by media mogul Rupert Murdoch， is seeking to buy Dow Jones Co. for five billion dollars。
